INTERNATIONAL RAIL TRANSPORT
Sustainable rail transport.
Environmentally friendly, fast, and reliable: international rail transport on the revitalized Silk Road. For your benefit, we have specialized in what was once the most important trade route between Europe and China. Spanning 13,000 kilometers in total, it is now the world's longest rail network for high-speed trains.
Compared to air freight, international rail transport is a cost-saving solution that offers high price stability – especially for heavy cargo. With shorter lead and transport times, it is an attractive alternative to sea freight.
Perfect for FCLs and LCLs
Whether for full container loads (FCL) or less than container loads (LCL), our global network allows us to provide you with efficient pre- and onward carriage solutions for rail transports in both Europe and Asia. To further increase the efficiency of your rail transports we use value-added services such as customs clearance, cross docking, HUB and warehouse solutions as well as fiscal representation.
Protecting the environment, conserving resources
By utilizing the rail system to transport goods, we are also countering the increase in road traffic while the road infrastructure has remained the same. The burden on the environment is also reduced, since CO2 emissions for rail transport are lower than those of air freight shipments. Existing resources are also conserved.
Benefit from years of experience
In 1965, our parent company was the first freight transit operator in Japan to carry out freight transports via the Trans-Siberian Railway. In 1992, NISSIN introduced the "China Land Bridge Service," offering rail transports from Japan and China to Europe. Our long-standing collaboration with an experienced rail operator ensures that our goods arrive on time – in Europe and in Asia.
